NVC Interview Appointment Notice

When NVC schedules an interview, it sends the applicant, petitioner, and agent/attorney (if applicable) an email with the appointment date and time. Applicant communities often call this an Interview Letter (IL). The official document is the NVC appointment email and embassy instructions.

The Islamabad supplement says to schedule the medical exam as soon as you receive your appointment date. The pre-interview checklist requires a copy of the NVC interview letter for applicable cases (it does not apply to fiancé, adoptive, or asylee/refugee applicants).

Immigrant visa applicants whose interview has been scheduled by NVC for Embassy Islamabad, subject to the exceptions on the official checklist.
